Screen Combat

This is a course devoted to the art of fighting on screen. This will be conducted by Igor Breakenback with assistance from the Breakenback Stunt Team. You will learn the arts of bringing combat to the screen, including a variety of styles from spagetti western haymakers to hong kong kicking action. It will also cover a variety of intended and improvised weapons and ways to use your fights to enhance your story and your onscreen world. Training weapons and matts will be provided but please check the list below for items to bring.

Cost is AU$200 Per Person (GST Included), however if you recomend four others who join we will half your cost. Only one recommend per person. Please request a personal info form which will lead to many payment options including periodical payments.

Choreography of a fight scene.
Differences between fighting for stage and screen.
How to incorporate weapons into a fight scene.
How to incorporate the environment/set into a fight scene.
Fight safety.

What to Bring:

Hardshell knee and elbow pads
Mouthguard
Groin guard
Armadillo (body armour)
Protective gloves (leather,hockey, etc.)
A pair of gym shoes
Towel
Water
Spare t-shirt

You may also bring a video or stills camera if you wish to record some of the skills you learn for your show reel.
